Printing Patient Statements
You can print patient statements individually or you can print statements for multiple patients. For information on setting up the layout of the Patient Statement, refer to the section on custom forms.
To print Multiple Statements, select the File Menu – Print Forms – Patient Statements.

When printing multiple statements, you can specify the statements that you want to print based on account balance, patient last name, or you can select individual patients.
For example, suppose you only want to print patients whose last name begins with A, B, or C. In the Range box enter A-C then click the Select All button. Only the patients whose last names starts with an A, B, or C will be selected. Then click the Print button to print the statements.
Other options are:
1. Dates. Statement should include only the specified date range
2. Amounts. Selected statements must meet a specified balance
3. Statements should show items that have cleared. When this box is checked all items will appear on the statement regardless of the claim balance.
4. Do not show delinquent accounts. If the account is delinquent, the patient name will appear in red. You may not want to send a statement to a delinquent account.
5. Show with Payer Type. Select the patients whose payer type is listed. This allows sending statements to only specific groups of patients. Also use this to hide private pay patients or to show only private pay patients.
To print an individual patient statement, select the patient so that you can view the demographics and then in the upper right corner click on the Stmt button.

When viewing a patient statement, the Page indicator at the top will be grayed out if there is only one page. If there are multiple pages, then enter the page number that you’d like to view. You can also click the options button to specify date ranges and whether the statements should include or not included items that have been cleared.

The default is to show all dates and to exclude items that have been cleared (items that have been fully paid).
The format of the Patient Statement is customized using the Activities Menu - Custom Forms. Refer to this section for more information.
